The Hunt For Veerappan delves into the life and crimes of Veerappan, a notorious forest brigand and poacher in Southern India. Likened to Robin Hood, the legendary Veerappan was active from the late 90s to the early 2000s. He not only ruled the jungles, but also became the targent of India’s most extensive and expensive manhunt.

The series provides a comprehensive look into his world, through the testimonies of the closest to him - his wife, former gang memmbers, and officers from the Special Task Force assigned to capture him.

Beyond the tales of crime, the series also sheds light on the underlying politics and central relationships, aiming to understand the enigma that Veerappan was.
